Meet Constable Dave.
Constable Dave came to our classroom. He talked about road safety. You need a helmet when you ride your bike because you might crash. If you have a helmet on, you will save your life. But you will still need to go to the hospital and Constable Dave said you must go across the pedestrian crossing. – Olivia
Constable Dave told us all about road safety. We will seriously need a helmet so we don't get hurt. People under twelve years old please can you sit in the back seat if there is space. If you have a car seat or booster seat please can you sit in it. For anything that has wheels please can you wear a helmet. If you walk in front of a car you might get hit by it and you might die. - Mary

He also said you have to sit in the back seat. We also learnt to cross at the pedestrian crossing. Also we learnt not to scream in the back seat of the car. – Charlotte

Constable Dave came to Red Beach School. He taught us about road safety. We have to sit in the back if you are under twelve with a booster seat. When you ride your bike you have to put your helmet on. You always have to put your seat belt on and always get out on the side with a foot path. You have to be careful. Constable Dave is a policeman. He knows a lot about safety. You need to put a yellow and orange jacket on. - Mia
